Standing on the promises of His Word...

Welcome to Prison Ministries

a resource for inmates and families
The mission of Prison Ministries Transitional Assistance Initiative is to provide the incarcerated and soon to be released inmate an opportunity to step out into the community on a sound spiritual and biblical foundation. We will try to assist the inmate and his or her family with attaining the correct information needed for a smooth transition back into their communities, with the primary goal of reducing recidivism and educating community awareness.

We know that there are many issues facing those who are soon to be released from our prisons and other institutions such as

1) Finding a Church Home
2) Finding a Housing
3) HealthCare Needs
4) Financial Assistance
5) Employment Opportunities
6) Education and Career Development

We know without a doubt that these issues are just the tip of the iceberg. Depending upon the type of crime the inmate has committed, they may have to continue with probation or parole, SOTP (Sex Offender Treatment Programs), Spectrum Counseling, AA, NA and other programs that offer a means of therapy and group counseling.

This undoubtedly can be very overwhelming and can send anyone into a whirlwind of emotions and worry about what to do, and how to overcome these roadblocks.

The Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians to “Be anxious for nothing, but everything through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guide your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-7

We want you to stand firmly on the Word of God and cast your burdens upon Him as His Word commands. And we will do the same in return and assist you in any way that we can.

Please feel free you contact us via email at support@prison-ministries.info  with your concerns.

Statement of Faith

Prison-Ministries Information Services & Solutions believes that the Bible is inspired of God, inerrant in the original documents and of final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God, born of a virgin, sinlessly perfect. His sacrifice is substitutionary and representative. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended to His Father’s right hand, where He now ministers as our Great High Priest. He will come to rapture His Church and subsequently return to reign on the earth.

Each member of the human race is fallen, sinful, and lost, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of man. Redemption is wholly by the blood of Christ and salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit indwells the believer, sealed until the day of redemption and is empowered to live a godly life.

There will be a resurrection of the saved and of the lost; of the saved, unto eternal life, and of the lost, unto eternal conscious judgment.

The Church began with the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and is composed of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. These believers are united to Him, and to one another, by the indwelling Holy Spirit. This means that the Church, as a whole, is not an organization, but a living organism, known as the Body of Christ. The Church’s calling, hope, and destiny are heavenly, and its chief functions are to glorify God and to witness for Christ until His return. The local church is composed of believers who gather in Christ’s name in a locality for worship, prayer, edification, and testimony. Government and discipline are divinely outlined in the Epistles as being the responsibility of the local church.

Christ, our risen Head, is the Giver of gifts such as evangelists, pastors, and teachers, and these men are responsible for their service. Gifts are given “for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

There are two Christian ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism by immersion signifies that the believer, having died with Christ, is buried with Him in baptism and also risen with Christ to walk in newness of life. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial feast, instituted by the Lord Himself exclusively for His own. In the observance of this supper, believers remember Him; they proclaim His death until He comes.

Every true child of God possesses eternal life, and being justified, sanctified, and sealed with the Holy Spirit, is secure for eternity. However, a Christian may, through sin, lose his fellowship, joy, power, testimony, and reward and incur the Father’s chastisement. Relationship is eternal, being established by new birth; fellowship, however, is dependent upon obedience.

The personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to translate His Church is imminent, an event which concludes the present age of grace. This will be followed by the outpouring of God’s wrath on the earth, known as the Great Tribulation. After this, Christ’s Millennial Kingdom will be established and “the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.” After the conclusion of His Millennial reign, Christ will deliver up the Kingdom of God, the Father, that the Triune God may be all in all.

"God’s word tells us “that we should bring our tithes and offerings into the store house.”

Our tithes and offerings are used to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our community. And through our missions, we are able to spread His message throughout the world.

We too need your help in providing for the many who are incarcerated in our Correctional Facilities, they need our help and support in many ways.

They need your prayers also.

Many inmates have no place to go when they leave the institution they are being held in. Many times even family has abandoned them and left them high and dry. This is not an easy task by no means.

These inmates need a variety of things, such as:

* Housing
* Employment
* Medical Assistance

* Therapy (if ordered by the courts)
* plus a host of other needs…

Your prayers are very helpful but we also need your financial support. Below you can donate what ever the Lord puts on your heart to donate. If you do not feel comfortable in making a donation online, we totally understand. (We have taken every precaution to make your information secure.)

Our Principles

It has been a guiding principle throughout the ages that God hates sin but in leu of that, He is a forgiving God and is willing and wants us to ask Him for forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 states: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from ALL unrighteousness"

For All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, and we as fellow believers in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, should not look down upon our brothers and sisters who have sinned, but look at the grace and mercy that God has given them and us. And rejoice in their Salvation, knowing that when Jesus Christ comes from the heavens to take us back to His Kingdom, we will ALL give Him Praise together.

We do not and will not discriminate a person because of their sin. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has already paid the penalty for Our Sins, and the Word states "not one sin should be counted above another".

Regardless of the sin ( or crime in this case ), Prison Ministries will do everything that is humanly possible to provide up to date information and services to help ALL INMATES return to there communities and guide them toward a path that will strengthen and encourage each and every one to continue to seek The Lord in ALL THINGS.

For we have found that ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE when we do as Matthew 6:33 states: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."

We encourage all to come to the foot of the cross

About Us

Prison-Ministries Information Services was started by the word of God “Go Ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel.””

Many men of the Old and New Testaments faced adversity behind the walls of prison, there they cried out to God in many ways, and God heard them and answered them, by telling each one to “Stand Firm” be “Steadfast” and to “Pray Earnestly”

Those of us who have faced many trials and tribulations behind the walls, know of the struggles these men and women face everyday. Some, spend every waking moment in fear, torment and anguish without God’s Word in their hearts, while others are a beacon of light for the down trodden.

The Apostle Paul tells us to “Let our gentleness be known to all men the Lord is at hand” Phil 4:5. This tells us that we should be the same to all people, be kind, be gentle, be helpful one to another, for the Lord will one day come, and we shall be ready to give an account of what we have done for Him. This is what He has called us to do.

If you are called to assist us please contact us and let us know how you believe God has called you to this service. You can also make a donation to His cause. Just click on the Donate Tab at the top of this page.

May the Lord Bless and Keep you in the palm of His Hand
